### Security audits

#### Fall 2020: Pessimistic (formerly SmartDec)

**Pessimistic** thoroughly audited the **GYSR v1 core contracts** for functionality, performance, safety, and security. Their final report can be found [**here**](https://resources.gysr.io/gysr_v1_audit_pessimistic.pdf).

#### Summer 2021: CertiK

**CertiK** conducted a comprehensive security audit of the **GYSR v2 core contracts.** The analysis considered functionality, performance, safety, and security. Their final report can be found [**here**](https://resources.gysr.io/gysr_v2_audit_certik.pdf).

#### Winter 2021: CertiK

**CertiK** conducted another security audit of the **GYSR NFT staking contracts.** The audit focused specifically on the safety and functionality of our new NFT staking capabilities. Their final report can be found [**here**](https://resources.gysr.io/gysr_nft_staking_audit_certik.pdf).

**Spring 2023: Dedaub**

**Dedaub** ran a security audit of the entire core contract codebase for the **GYSR v3** release. This thorough review and hardening process took place over a 2+ month period and covered both safety and performance. Their final report can be found [**here**](https://resources.gysr.io/gysr_v3_audit_dedaub.pdf).

### Bug bounty

As part of our ongoing commitment to safety and security, we are thrilled to introduce the **GYSR bug bounty program** in partnership with **Immunefi,** with a max payout of **$10,000 USD**.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.gysr.io/resources/safety.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
